The NLA curriculum is designed for Bridges students in a Spanish bilingual setting. This first unit was designed as a pilot for implementation alongside Bridges Integrated and Stand-Alone classes. It is aligned to Integrated Unit 1, with a thematic focus on Identity. Daily lessons target academic thinking, language, and literacy through gradual release using protocols that build independence.
