Orientation to Bridges Programs

The Orientation to Bridges Programs series is designed to introduce teachers and administrators of SIFE and Newcomer learners in New York State to our programs, support their understanding of implementation, and clarify key topics such as who can use Bridges resources, the requirements for implementing Bridges programs, and ways teachers and administrators can effectively leverage the intake process for SIFE and Newcomer students. We provide 2 hours of CTLE credit (upon request) for the full completion of the Orientation to Bridges.

This is a two-part orientation consisting of a self-paced online learning module available on the Bridges website, followed by a live presentation and Q&A session with the Bridges team. To participate, please follow the three steps below:

After completing steps 1, 2, and attending the live online Q&A session, you’ll be granted temporary access to Bridges instructional materials to see if they meet the needs of your students.

If your school decides to implement a Bridges program, you will continue to have access.
