Alejandra Perez-Botero is an Bilingual Instructional Coach and Content Developer at Bridges to Academic Success. She is responsible for coaching and for creating and facilitating professional learning sessions. She earned her BA in Literature from Los Andes University in Bogotá, Colombia, and initially worked as a learning program coordinator and policy advisor to the Colombian government on early childhood literacy. She then spent four years as a library teacher at an international school in Colombia before pursuing her MS in Neuroscience and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, where she developed strong research skills focused on the impact of social interactions in classrooms. Her primary language is Spanish, and she is proficient in English.
