Lisa Auslander is the Principal Investigator and Senior Project Director for Bridges to Academic Success. She leads the team in professional learning, curriculum development and operations. She is a former teacher, coach and administrator who worked in New York City schools and at the district level for over 15 years. She is the author of Creating Responsive Classroom Communities: A Cross-Case Study of Schools Serving Students with Interrupted Schooling and several peer reviewed articles. She is also an Adjunct Asst Professor at Hunter College in the Department of Educational Leadership. Lisa speaks fluent German and is always improving her Spanish.
